Probiotic Spray Earns Top Indoor Air Quality Rating
13th September 2019
This independent certification study assessed the indoor air safety of DENAA+ Probiotic Allergy-Free Spray (since re-named Provilan Clean Air Optimiser Spray), focusing on its emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and aldehydes – common contributors to indoor air pollution and health concerns.
The spray underwent rigorous laboratory testing in accordance with ISO 16000 standards (the international benchmark for indoor air quality). The tests simulated real-life usage: four sprays in a 2.5 m³ space, similar to a small room or toilet. Air samples were taken and analysed by Office Veritas, a COFRAC-accredited lab.
The findings were excellent:
-
Highest possible rating – A+, indicating very low emissions.
-
Total VOCs measured just 66.7 µg/m³, far below the strict 4,000 µg/m³ threshold.
-
All detected compounds were well within international safety limits, including those from the UK, EU, US, and over 35 countries.
This certification proves that DENAA+ Allergy-Free Spray is not only safe for pets and surfaces – it also protects indoor air quality. It contains no harsh chemicals and emits no harmful substances.
For allergy sufferers, families with children, pet owners, and eco-conscious users, this study confirms that DENAA+ is a healthier, science-backed cleaning choice.
