Vet Trials Probiotic Wound Care Spray for Faster Cat Bite Healing

Vet Trials Probiotic Wound Care Spray for Faster Cat Bite Healing

Sept 16 2024

Mila, a cat owned by a veterinary surgeon, suffered six painful, inflamed cat bite wounds.

The surgeon trialed LUCAA+ Probiotic Dermo Care Spray (previously called LUCAA+ Wound Care) applying it twice daily for 7 days. The wounds were first cleaned with Chlorhexidine antiseptic before applying the spray. Mila also received opioid pain control for 3 days.

Her temperature normalised within 24 hours, and the inflammation around the wounds reduced by Day 4. By Day 7, the bite wounds had fully healed, and no further treatment or anti-inflammatory medication was required.

The spray effectively promoted faster healing by restoring the skin’s microbiome and reducing inflammation naturally. No complications occurred.

Note: LUCAA+ Dermo Care spray supports skin health but is not a medicine. We always recommend consulting your vet if in any doubt.
