Probiotic Spray Promotes Healthy Healing of Dairy Cow Udder Wound

Probiotic Spray Promotes Healthy Healing of Dairy Cow Udder Wound

Sept 16 2024

A dairy cow with a 15cm wound near her udder was offered an alternative treatment to the usual disinfectants and antibiotics: ANNAA+ Probiotic Wound Care Spray (since re-named LUCAA+ Dermo Care Spray).

Instead of a 14-day antibiotic course, the wound was cleaned with warm water and sprayed with the probiotic solution twice daily. The probiotics in the spray promoted healthy healing by replacing harmful bacteria with beneficial ones, restoring her skin’s microbial balance.

The wound healed in 8 days, rather than the expected 14. The cow was able to return to milk production sooner without the usual waiting period for antibiotics to clear the system. The farmer benefited from reduced costs and no interruption in milk supply.

Note: This ANNAA+ formula is now available as LUCAA+ Probiotic Dermo Care. LUCAA+ Probiotic Dermo Care supports wound healing but is not a medicine. We always recommend consulting your vet if in any doubt.
